Chase went above and beyond dealing with my insurance, clarifying any questions I had, even gave me personal cell number from beginning to completion of the roof. The 2 men who came were courteous and polite. Answered question and cleaned up after themselves. Would highly recommend this company

Most companies were afraid of the job because it had a deck that needed torn off to get to the roof underneath. Smith roofing was not afraid of the challenge and did a great job at a fair price. No more roof leaks!

Right from the very beginning, Jessie and his crew were great to work with. In the planning stages, Jessie was great about making very creative and smart suggestions, but yet not pressuring us if we had different thoughts. We had a hard time finding the siding color that we wanted, but Jessie was great at looking into several different companies’ products until we found the perfect one! The crew was very conscientious, and made sure they cleaned up completely after they finished work for the day. The work was very high quality and Jessie would check on it daily-if he or us didn’t like the way something looked, he made sure it was redone and fixed. The project was started and finished when we were told it would be, and we love it! We definitely would hire Smith Roofing & Remodeling again in a heartbeat!

neil boothAugust 12, 2024We hired Smith Bros to reroof the steeple of the church. It required two different types of roofs, special equipment, and on the job construction decisions. The job was highly specialized. It all started with an inspection of the steeple which included climbing up the inside of the 140 year old structure as well as an exterior inspection in which they utilized a drone. Afterward an estimate was drawn up and the plan reviewed by Jesse Smith(the owner). Jesse contacted us directly to guide us through some option choices. He knows exactly what he’s doing and is able to guide you through cost efficiency considerations as well as planning the long term impact of reroofing with differing materials and techniques. They said they could do the job in a day. The job manager came at 6:30 am, and the last of the crew left at 9:30 pm. They did the job in one day and when they left you couldn't tell that anyone had been there. The Smith crew loves doing the work they do, their subcontractors (gutters, facia, soffit) are the same. They love what they do and they are efficient at it. We didn’t shop this job around, we just called Smith Bros. Why? Because we hired Smith Bros the previous year to reroof the parsonage. It was 27 squares on a rather simple roof design. We also had some gutter and facia work done on another structure. The reroof started at 7 am and was complete by 11 am with no evidence that anyone was there. The other work was done on a different day by their subcontractors and was done just as well and as efficient as the main job. We did shop that job around last year. Smith Bros’s estimate was nearly $5000 less than the other local competitor, not because Smith Bros was using inferior products or cutting corners, rather they were honest and had the integrity to price the job fairly without trying to make a fast buck like the competitor did. Beware there are unscrupulous roofers in Columbia City! Smith Bros are not one of them. That’s why Smith Bros is our roofing company. We don’t shop our roofing needs around. We just call Smith Bros. Roofing.
